Art became my bridge. When I painted, my body softened, my breath slowed, and memories loosened their grip. Science explained why: creativity reduces
cortisol, sparks neuroplasticity, and opens new synaptic pathways. Each
brushstroke became both expression and repair.
Then COVID came. I watched family, friends, and clients unravel under invisible stress. Sitting with them, I saw something profound: when people understood why a small ritual mattered — how a breath or brushstroke reshaped their brain and body in real time — healing accelerated. Awareness itself became medicine.
